Adele on progress of new album: "I'm not very far along"

Adele has updated fans on the progress of her next album.

The singer's last full effort '21' was released in 2011 and has sold millions and millions of units across the globe, smashing records in the process.

Naturally, her next album is highly anticipated but she revealed at the Grammys yesterday (February 10) that she hasn't done too much work on it yet. The vocal star said:

"I'm not very far along at all. I'm having lots of meetings. I've been in LA the whole time since the Globes and I'll be here till the Oscars. So I'm having lots of meetings but I've been out of the loop really."

She continued: "I've just been singing my baby nursery rhymes so I don't really know what's cool and what's not! I'm definitely going to visit Paul Epworth and talk about doing that again."

Adele meanwhile won the Best Pop Solo Performance award at the Grammys for the live track 'Set Fire To Rain'.

She was also pictured in what seemed to be a verbal altercation with Chis Brown at the ceremony.
