The Black Keys: 'Justin Bieber had no right to be mad at GRAMMYs snub'

Rockers The Black Keys picked up an impressive number of GRAMMY Awards last night (February 10), but they admitted it was disappointing to hear Justin Bieber complaining about not being nominated because that's not what the ceremony is about.

The band won 4 prizes at the Los Angeles ceremony yesterday, including Best Song and Best Rock Performance, but member Patrick Carney explained that the GRAMMYs are tainted by acts that aren't so concerned with the music and referred to Bieber, who recently expressed his disappointment at not getting any nominations at all:

"He’s rich, right?. Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."

Both Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, and his mother, Pattie Mallette, also spoke out against the GRAMMYs after he failed to attract any recognition in the categories at this year's ceremony.
