Michael Jackson's son lands TV reporter role

Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince Michael has paid tribute to his father's parenting skills after landing a job as a TV reporter.

The 16-year-old star is working for daily US tabloid show Entertainment Tonight, which saw the teenager interviewing stars of the film Oz the Great and Powerful including James Franco and Zach Braff as his first job.

Entertainment Tonight correspondent Brooke Anderson praised the star's maturity, and Prince Michael admitted his approach to life is thanks to his legendary father.

Thanking his colleague for the compliment, the star said: "That's what most of my people say. That was all thanks to my Dad. He raised me right.

He added: "I've been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed."

Prince Michael revealed that he now wants to interview 'Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson.

He explained: "I just love the way he shoots [and how] he brings things and depicts it back to life. I used to study his movies with my Dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together."
