Canadian music star Michael Bublé has admitted that before his wife fell pregnant he was starting to worry that he might never be a father.

The 37-year-old joked that he has enjoyed a lot of sexual encounters in his time, but had began to grow concerned about his potency as none of them ever called to say they might be expecting his baby:

"I've had sex with a lot of women, near the end I was trying to impregnate them just to see if I could."

He added to Entertainment Tonight Canada that he eventually got his fertility tested: "But seriously, I went and got tested to see if [I could get someone pregnant]. I was sure it wasn't going to work."

When asked if he was ready to welcome his first child with model wife Luisana Lopilato, he explained: "I'm so not ready but who knows who is ever ready for it. I'm more in love with my wife now than I ever was."

Bublé also confessed that Lopilato has been craving some odd foods: "Some women crave pickles or ice cream. "My wife wants blood sausages. Sausage made of congealed blood. And I promise you, she hated it her whole life and now she said, 'Mike, I want some blood sausage,' and it's like, 'What the hell?'"
