One Direction support act Camryn: "I'm the envy of girls across the world"

US pop act Camryn has revealed her delight at supporting One Direction on tour.

The singer will warm up for the British pop icons on their Take Me Home Europe jaunt this year, which opens today (February 23) in London.

Speaking to The Sun, Camryn - who met the group whilst performing with them in the US last year - acknowledged she is lucky to have landed the support slot. She said:

"I'm very scared but it's going to be good. I must be the envy of teenage girls all over the world."

The young singer continued: "I'm really nervous because I don't know what to expect from the European fans. I've never played over here before so I don't know what to expect and what they think of my music. This is only my second time in England. The first was when I was very young and that was a holiday."

One Directon's UK tour meanwhile is due to end in Manchester on April 20.
