Rihanna on taking back Chris Brown: "He's not a monster"

Rihanna has defended her reconciliation with Chris Brown.

The duo were previously in a relationship until the 'Don't Judge Me' star assaulted her in 2009.

However, rumours of the pair getting back together surfaced after they teamed up for the track 'Nobodies Business' on Rihanna's 2012 record 'Unapologetic'.

Pictures later emerged of the duo together, including at the recent Grammy Awards. In a new interview, the 'Stay' star defended getting back together with Brown, saying:

"It's different now. We don't have those types of arguments any more. We talk about [stuff]. We value each other."

She continued: "For a long time he was really angry...there's so many reasons why I ever reconsidered having him in my life. He's not the monster everyone thinks. He's a good person. He has a fantastic heart. He's giving and loving. And he's fun to be around. That's what I love about him - he always makes me laugh."
