Floppy haired heartthrob Harry Styles was hit in the groin by a flying shoe at One Direction's concert in Glasgow last night (February 26) and the fan who threw it has now come forward.

Styles fell to the floor in pain while on stage during their set yesterday and audience member Jade Anderson confessed to the Scottish Daily Record that she didn't mean to hurt him by launching the item at the boy band:

"I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me. I didn’t mean to hit him where I hit him, I’m really embarrassed."

Anderson was subsequently escorted out of the venue by bouncers as member Liam Payne joked to the crowd, "well, he has just been assaulted." Singer Niall Horan also tweeted about the gig and wrote: "What a great show glasgow, i love scotland! What a great place! U guys were mental, lets do it all again tomorrow shall we ? #1DinGlasgow"
