Beyoncé producer on her new album: 'We're aiming for feel-good music'

The-Dream, who is helping produce the new studio album by Beyoncé, has opened up about the record and admitted that there isn't one particular style she wanted for the collection of songs.

Speaking to MTV's RapFix, the star explained that she wants to create a body of work that has a 'feel-good' vibe and one that showcases her personality through sound: "There's no particular sound that I think we're shooting for, we're just trying to make music that feels good."

"If you seen the HBO thing, which was great, we had been talking about doing something that showcases who she is and what she wants because we see those figures that are so out of the stratosphere."

Referring to the 'Halo' hitmaker's HBO documentary, 'Life Is But A Dream', he added: "She's just shooting to be regular and okay and not trying to appease everybody. You have to appease yourself and your soul for doing it."

"You're in front of everybody all day. She gives her all onstage as you seen in the Super Bowl. She shut the lights down."
