Justin Bieber "turning to God" after eventful week

Justin Bieber is turning to God to help ease his recent troubles, according to a preacher friend.

Seattle based Judah Smith revealed to The Sun that he has been sending the singer Bible quotes in an effort to help clear his mind after an eventful week in the UK.

Bieber has been plagued by a number of incidents in England recently, with yesterday's (March 8) scuffle with a cameraman the latest negative story to hit the headlines.

Smith revealed that Bieber is feeling the pressure of the spotlight, adding that the Canadian is apparently unsure of his own decision-making. He said:

"He feels under pressure. Every eyeball is on your life. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. This is the first challenge he's had in life, but it won't be the last. I give Justin encouragement. Take time to say to God, 'I'm over my head here. I need your help'."

Smith continued: "He has coping methods like turning and talking to God and practising the ancient scriptures. We exchange scriptures every day. Justin asks, 'God if you're there, I need help. I don't know what decision to make'."

Bieber meanwhile recently paid tribute to his religious friend on Instagram, posting:

"I know I already posted this but I'm gonna put it up again to show love to my big bro Judah I love u Man U inspire me.. When u have a moment of weakness ask god to be with you and bring his peace. I know for a fact it helps. :)."
