Bastille debut at No. 1 in UK album charts

London quartet Bastille have shot to the top of the UK albums chart with their debut offering 'Bad Blood' today (March 10).

The band have knocked Emeli Sande's hugely successful 'Our Version Of Events' off the top spot and into No. 2 position.

Bruno Mars' 'Unorthodox Jukebox' is up two places to No. 4, while Dido's newest offering 'Girl Who Got Away' has entered the charts at No.5.

Elsewhere in the charts, Olly Murs' 'Right Place Right Time' is up an impressive 12 places to No. 7 while P!nk's 'The Truth About Love' has also climbed 11 places to No. 10 after 25 weeks in the charts.

Jake Bugg's self-titled album is down five places to No. 12 while Ellie Goulding's Halcyon is up one place in the charts to No. 15.
