Green Day and Eminem to headline Reading and Leeds Festival 2013

Earlier this evening (March 11), it was confirmed that rockers Green Day and rap superstar Eminem will headline this year's Reading and Leeds Festival.

Green Day recently announced that their first live date since Billie Joe Armstrong completed his stint in rehab will be at SXSW on March 15 and they will now also take the stage at one of the UK's biggest summer music events.

In addition to the aforementioned acts, Biffy Clyro were revealed as the third headliner of the weekend and other bands who will perform include Nine Inch Nails, New Found Glory and Brand New.

Frank Turner, Skrillex and Chase and Status will also treat crowds to live sets. 2013's Reading and Leeds Festivals will take place over August 23-25 and tickets are on sale now for both locations.
