'Beautiful Monster' hitmaker Ne-Yo has hinted that he might be in talks with 'X Factor USA' to be a potential new panelist.

During an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, the singer explained that while he can't reveal specific details he knows that as soon as a decision is made, "the world will know":

"As of right now it's not something I can really talk about. I need to keep that under wraps. Just know that if and when it happens, the world will know."

"I definitely have an appreciation for those kinds of shows. Any show that facilitates an artist furthering their career and pursuing their dreams, I'm all for it."

Meanwhile, Britney Spears announced her departure from the popular TV vocal talent show at the beginning of the year after just one season and no other judges have been confirmed.
