Lady Gaga's Born Brave Bus to tour without her

While pop superstar Lady Gaga is recovering from hip surgery, the Born Brave Bus will head out on the road without her to provide support and counselling to thousands of young people.

It will travel to 4 different cities across 5 dates starting tomorrow (March 16) with an appearance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and fans can pre-register to attend each event here.

Originally, the Born Brave Bus was travelling the same route as Gaga's recent Born This Way Ball tour, but she's had to cancel the remaining dates after suffering a labral tear and undergoing surgery for the injury.

It will now head out to Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and Washington, and a statement on the official website explains that attendees can "hang out, participate in creative and interactive activities, meet resources in your community, and bond with other youth – just like you – who are ready to make a difference and start building a kinder, braver world."

Gaga, meanwhile, has been recovering from her operation in a custom-made gold wheelchair complete with a cushioned seat, retractable hood and extended leg-rest.
