Carrie Underwood set for return to 'American Idol'

Country superstar Carrie Underwood will make her return to the 'American Idol' stage next week with a special live performance.

The songstress is one of the TV show's most successful winners and is set to treat viewers and the studio audience to a rendition of her new single, 'See You Again', on next Thursday's episode (April 4).

Underwood, who picked up a GRAMMY award earlier this year for Best Country Solo Performance on 'Blown Away', is releasing 'See You Again' as the fourth single from her current album and she co-wrote it with Hillary Lindsey and David Hodges.

Meanwhile, the beauty recently opened up about potential future collaborations and admitted she would never say no to working with an act as well-known as One Direction: "I don't know that much about them personally, but we see so much about them in the US - where they are and what they eat for lunch. Young ladies always find young men to love, I think that's what it's all about."
