Frank Ocean announces London show

Frank Ocean has confirmed details of a one-off London gig.

The hip-hop star will play the Brixton O2 Academy on July 9.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on April 5 at 9am UK time and they are expected to move swiftly.

The date comes after Ocean was announced for a couple of British festivals this summer.

The 'Channel Orange' man will play London's Wireless festival on July 12 before heading to Scotland's T in the Park at the end of the month.

As previously reported, Depeche Mode recently revealed that they wrote some music with Ocean after meeting in a studio.

The synth stars' Dave Gahan said: "Martin [Gore] and Christoffer Berg ended up doing a track with him, which I think is going to be part of his new record. Martin did some electronics and some modular synthesiser stuff he really wanted."
