Superstar Rihanna has given fans a peek into her family life after posting intimate snaps of her and her mother, Monica Braithwaite.

The ‘Diamonds’ singer posted the photos in honour of her mum’s birthday, which the pair celebrated in Beverly Hills, California this weekend.

Rihanna is currently on short a break from her ‘Diamonds’ world tour and decided to spend some of her few free hours with her ‘Mama Fenty’.

"Me and Mama Fenty doing some bday damage! She's radical man!" Rihanna posted to Twitter. "Just like 'ol times #mamasgirl.”

She also added: "The way she looks at me is as epic as the way Dolly looked at me! Love u mommy #AriesLife."

Earlier this week Rihanna also released a trailer for her upcoming 777 Tour documentary, which will air in the US on 6 May.
