Wu-Tang Clan announce UK dates for 20th anniversary reunion

Hip-hop collective the Wu-Tang Clan will reunite this summer for live shows in London and Manchester.

Iconic group members – such as RZA, GZA, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Method Man and Masta Killah – will also release a new album called ‘A Better Tomorrow’ to coincide with reunion proceedings.

Despite having experienced an album hiatus since 2007, and the death of founder member Ol’ Dirty Bastard in 2004 , the Wu-Tang Clan will play new tracks to audiences at the Manchester 02 Apollo on July 25 and London’s Brixton Academy the following night.

These reunion dates signify the passing of two decades since the New York hip-hoppers’ debut album ‘Enter The Wu-Tang’ in 1993.

RZA- real name Robert Diggs- has given his reasons for returning to Wu-Tang membership:

"There’s one last job Wu-Tang Clan must do. And we need to, one more time, completely, efficiently, properly, professionally represent our brand.

One more time. But this time, showing up on time for press and for concerts and studio. Do it one more time, perfect."
