Kylie Minogue to work with Darkchild on upcoming album

Music producer and songwriter Darkchild has revealed his involvement with Kylie Minogue’s latest album release, which is currently being recorded and is expected for sometime in 2014.

Darkchild, whose real name is Rodney Jerkins, let fans know he was working with the pint-size Australian vocalist over his social media blogging site, saying:

“Who's in my booth right now? @kylieminogue #Killin this song!”

The same tweet announced that Elijah Blake was also onboard with Minogue’s latest project, with the celebrated songwriter having worked with Usher, Bono and Alicia Keys in recent years.

However Darkchild’s enlightening tweets were not done for the week, as he later updated the internet on how it is to work with a multi-award winning artist like Minogue. The new album seems to be progressing well, with Darkchild tweeting yesterday (April 12):

“DAY 2 Working with @kylieminogue #PureMagic Pleasure working with u Kylie!”

The hip-hop producer is not short of a few awards himself - having previously won 4 Grammy awards - and has collaborated with the likes of Justin Beiber and Britney Spears in the past.

Earlier this month Minogue announced the production of an additional LP, which will be released penultimate to this new album and is being complied with the aid of production outfit Stargate.
