Ke$ha has revealed that she has been swapping text messages with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.

The 19-year-old British singer has garnered something of a Lothario reputation since leaving the X Factor in 2010, with his rumoured penchant for older women top tabloid fodder.

Speaking to reporters at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (April 14), Ke$ha said that she has been speaking to Styles via her phone - and hinted that romance could possibly be on the cards. The singer said:

"We've texted here and there."

The 'Tik Tok' star added: "No sexting – not yet. Maybe he can be my cougar bait. It could be really fun."
