Justin Bieber has pulled a gig in the Middle East with no explanation.

The singer was due to perform in Muscat, Oman on May 6 but the show will no longer go ahead.

Instead, his team have added a second date in Dubai - some 280 miles away from Oman. The organisers of the event said in a statement:

"Alive Entertainment regrets to announce that the Justin Bieber in Oman show will no longer take place. Due to overwhelming regional demand, a second show in Dubai has been announced for May 5."

Bieber meanwhile softened the blow of cancelling a live show with two new topless photos on Instagram.

The images showed off the singer's toned physique as he visited a gym - sending fans wild in the process. Watch Justin Bieber perform live below:
