Adam Levine on talent show ratings war: 'We don't get involved with s**t like that'

Maroon 5 crooner Adam Levine has refused to comment about the apparent drop in ratings that 'American Idol' has suffered this season and instead chose to promote his own show, 'The Voice'.

Entertainmentwise.com reports that the 'Harder To Breathe' hitmaker didn't want to talk about the ratings war between the two popular vocal talent contests and explained that as long as 'The Voice' is doing well, that's all he cares about:

"We don't get involved in stupid s**t like that" "what's the point? we love our show. At one point Idol was getting bigger ratings than we've ever gotten. So we don't think about that when we make our show. We think about making our show as good as it could possibly be."

He has also been updating his personal Twitter account with snippets about his participation in the popular series and recently wrote: "It's so cool to see artists connect through this show. #duncan & #sarah were awesome tonight. #Battles #TheVoice."
