Wiz Khalifa confirms Britney Spears collaboration: 'Yeah, I'm on her new album'

'Black and Yellow' rapper Wiz Khalifa has revealed that he will feature on Britney Spears' forthcoming new record.

The 'Till The World Ends' pop superstar is currently working on what will be her eighth album and during an interview with Whoo Kid on Whoolywood Shuffle, Khalifa confirmed that he plays a part in it although didn't specify to what degree:

"Yeah, I'm on the Britney album. I actually got on there from working with will and Jean Baptiste and just being in the studio with those two just putting together some ideas. I think they ran them past Brit and something stuck."

Back in January, producer Hit-Boy told MTV that he was in the studio with her and together they were developing a more "global" sound: "I'm bringing my world to her world, so I'm infusing what I do in hip-hop and bringing pop elements to it. So it's just going to be a global sound."

Spears, meanwhile, recently told her huge online following to expect a new song from her soon, which also features on the soundtrack for the forthcoming 'Smurfs' movie sequel.
