Justin Bieber slams ridiculous "rumours" after news breaks of Swedish tour bus drugs raid

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber has hit out at the press today (April 25) following a story that broke earlier this morning suggesting his tour bus was raided by police and was found to have been carrying drugs.

It was reported that Bieber's bus was searched by Swedish police yesterday (Wednesday, April 24) after an officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A spokesperson from the Swedish police force issued a statement on the story, confirming:

"The police went onto the bus and searched it and found a small amount of narcotics. We don't know who had the drugs or who smoked them, so it will be hard to link them with any individual."

Now, the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker has taken to his official Twitter page to slam 'rumours' that he claims to be purely sensational, writing: "Some of the rumors about me....where do people even get this stuff. whatever...back to the music."

Bieber's fans were quick to rush to his defense with one writing, "rumors arent important, your Beliebers believe in you, not believe in rumors," and another adding, "they're just jealous of your talent Justin, don't forget that." Watch the music video for Bieber's collaborative hit with Will.i.Am on '#thatpower' here:
