Gwyneth Paltrow on Coldplay husband: 'He's putting something good into the world'

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has praised the musical talents of her husband's band, Coldplay, and admitted that she never makes him rush home because she wants to leave him to his career.

Chris Martin, the frontman of Brit rockers Coldplay, has been married to Paltrow since 2003 and during a new interview with Glamour magazine she explained that he is making a worthwhile contribution to "the world" with his "mad, genius songwriter" skills so she doesn't keep tabs on where he is or what time he'll be home:

"I never say, 'Where are you? You should be home by now'. I never place demands on him because I think he’s a really talented man and he’s putting something good into the world."

Of their 10-year marriage, Paltrow added that it hasn't been an easy ride although it's always enjoyable: "It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple. I asked my dad once, 'How did you and Mum stay married for 33 years?' And he said, 'Well, we never wanted to get divorced at the same time'. And I think that’s what happens."
