Danny from Hear'Say auditions for 'The Voice' with Spice Girls cover

Former Hear'Say member, Danny Foster, recently took part in the blind auditions round for the new season of 'The Voice' and surprised the coaches with an unusual song choice.

Foster found fame back in 2001 after participating in the ITV reality series 'Popstars', through which he went on to win a place in the manufactured pop act alongside band mates Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw and Noel Sullivan, although he has been out of the public eye for some time now.

Despite this, the singer suited up and took the stage to show 'The Voice' panelists his vocal talents by performing a unique rendition of the Spice Girls' well-loved hit single, 'Wannabe'.

The arrangement he chose was slowed down and had funk elements to it with a ballsy vocal introduction that led the four coaches, namely Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J, Will.i.Am and Tom Jones, to look at each other in confusion.

While the teaser clip, which shows most of Foster's audition, doesn't provide viewers with a conclusion it does show the panel whispering to each other about how "weird" the song choice is.
