A host of top acts have been announced for this year's BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend.

The annual event is taking place over May 24-26 in Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland and this morning (May 6) its line-up was revealed.

Calvin Harris, Biffy Clyro, Olly Murs, Bruno Mars and Dizzee Rascal are just a few of the acts scheduled to play the event.

They will be joined by the likes of The Script, Ellie Goulding, Conor Maynard, Rita Ora, Paramore, Little Mix, The Saturdays and Wretch 32.

Other names on the bill include The Vaccines, 30 Seconds To Mars, Jake Bugg, Two Door Cinema Club, Kendrick Lamar and Iggy Azalea.

Free tickets for the concerts have already been snapped up by fans.
