James Arthur slams tabloid prostitute story

James Arthur has rubbished a report which claimed he paid for two prostitutes.

The Sun recently published an article which suggested the X Factor 2012 winner got two females to apparently "writhe around in a lesbian show".

Taking to Twitter, however, Arthur said the claims amounted to "slander" and that the article was designed to "assassinate" his character. The singer said:

"How can someone who writes for the sun who print utter bullsh*t say I need a moral compass? Must be Boyle still bitter about our handbags :). Apologies to those of my fans reading lies about me today. This is just another attempt by the sun to assassinate the character of someone who is trying to do something positive with his life bcoz I come from the Xfactor it's pure slander so i fight back sorry #LOVE."

He later added: "Wow, I love you lot your support is incredible seriously im blown away here I'm inundated with love.. You will be repaid for your support xx."
