Justin Bieber sued over copyright

Justin Bieber has been sued for copyright infringement over his track 'Somebody to Love'.

The star released the song in 2010 on his 'My World 2.0' album, with mentor Usher recording a vocal cameo.

However, singer Devin Copeland - aka De Rico - and songwriter Mareio Overton have claimed that Usher gave their track to Bieber after being shown it by a music scout.

They say that the next they heard regarding the song was hearing Justin Bieber sing a version of it on the radio.

Copeland and Overton allege that their track has the same name, time signature, basic beat and similar lyrics as Bieber's version. They said in their lawsuit:

"There is essentially a zero probability for the number of points of congruence between the two versions of Somebody to Love."
