Britney Spears could make 'Blackout' follow-up, says producer

Producer Danja has hinted that Britney Spears could make a second volume of her album 'Blackout'.

The singer released the record in 2007 and the album, which spawned tracks like 'Gimme More', received largely favourable reviews.

Speaking to MuuMuse, producer Danja - who worked on the original record - said that there have been discussions about making a 'Blackout 2.0'. He revealed:

"I'm with everybody else. I want to make it happen. I've been in the studio creating for her. We haven't got in yet, we're just collecting songs and creating an energy. There's been a lot of conversation and a lot of talk. I don't know when the next ['Blackout'] is going to be, but I believe there's going to be another one."

Spears has been busy working on new material recently, but there has been no official word on what the project will be named.
