Muse have announced plans to play a free gig in London.

The concert will take place after the Leicester Square premiere of new Brad Pitt movie World War Z, which features the band's music.

The gig will be held in Horse Guards Parade Ground at St James's Park on June 2.

15,000 tickets will be made available to fans from 9am UK time on May 28.

World War Z meanwhile will be released in the UK and the US on June 21.

Many of the film's scenes were shot in Glasgow's city centre, with a zombie invasion taking place on the streets.
