Naughty Boy’s ‘La La La’ debuts at No. 1

Shahid Khan, a.k.a. Naughty Boy, has scored his first UK number one single with his track ‘La La La’ featuring Sam Smith.

Naughty Boy’s single brings Daft Punk’s reign over the chart to an end as ‘Get Lucky’ slips from number one to two. 

Elsewhere in the top ten 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa’s ‘We Own It (Fast and Furious)’ went straight in at no. 6. Olly Murs’ ‘Dear Darlin’’ rose nine places putting him within the top ten at no. 9, whilst David Guetta’s ‘Work Hard’ rose another two places to no.7.

Climbers in this week’s chart include Mariah Cary featuring Miguel with ‘Beautiful’ up three places to 24 and Paramore’s ‘Still Into You’ rises seven spots to no. 17  

New entries into the chart come from The 1975 with ‘The City’ in at no. 30, Lana Del Rey’s ‘Young and Beautiful’, taken from ‘The Great Gatsby’ soundtrack at no. 23 and Eurovision Song Contest winner Emmelie de Forest’s ‘Only Teardrops’ at no. 15
