Demi Lovato on 'X Factor USA': 'It's great so far but I miss Britney Spears'

Songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that the new series of 'X Factor USA' is off to a great start, but she misses the judges who decided not to return for this season.

During an interview with Digital Spy, the 'Heart Attack' beauty explained that she formed some strong bonds with the likes of LA Reid and Britney Spears so is finding the transition strange as Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are now on the panel:

"It's going really great. I love the new judges, they're amazing. Kelly is so much fun to work with - she's got a great energy about her and we connect really well. It was just an instant, off-the-bat kinda thing. Paulina is doing great as well - she's really, really huge in South America and I'm glad the show is representing that side of things more."

When asked about the recently departed Spears and Reid, Lovato admitted that she misses her: "I do miss them. We spent a lot of time together and we'd formed those bonds, but it's a new chapter now and I'm excited to start a new experience with new people."

Lovato also confessed that she hopes to mentor the girls again as it was such a great experience: "The girls again! But who knows, we'll have to see what happens. It feels like a natural fit for me but anything could happen. I'm up for the challenge."
