Beyoncé's sister Solange has revealed how the pair like to swap clothes with each other.

Discussing the Knowles sisters' wardrobe trades, Solange told InStyle magazine: "Beyoncé and I swap clothes all the time, especially when we're on vacation. The deal is we have to give them back afterwards though!"

However Solange did not borrow her famous sister's clothes during their childhood due to her unique youthful style.

The 'Losing You' singer explained: "I've had a distinctive style since I was a child. Between the ages of three and six I wore my tap shoes with absolutely everything. I didn't borrow my sister Beyoncé's clothes [then] though - she's older than me, so they were always too big."

Solange also chatted about her own hands-on approach to fashion and styling. She said: "Getting dressed for the red carpet is second nature to me. Before I went on the road I would personally email designers and do all the studio visits myself."

The 26-year-old solo star concluded: "So many stylists will tell you not to wear certain prints or silhouettes, and that's why I prefer to dress myself."
