Arcade Fire's Win Butler joins The Rolling Stones on stage

Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has become the latest music star to join The Rolling Stones on stage.

The veteran British rock group are currently touring North America on their 50 And Counting jaunt, which has seen a number of singers join the band on stage.

They have already invited the likes of Gwen Stefani and Katy Perry up to perform with them, and last night (June 9) it was Butler's turn.

The collaboration took place at Montreal's Bell Centre as the two camps played the track 'The Last Time' together.

Speaking on Twitter prior to the show, Stones singer Mick Jagger said: "Really pleased Win Butler is joining us in Montreal. I had a great time playing w him on SNL, so I know his Stones duet will be outstanding."
