Lawson's Andy Brown says night out with Niall Horan was like a "military operation"

Lawson singer Andy Brown has revealed that going out for drinks with a member of One Direction is like a "military operation".

The 'Kiss You' boyband have become global stars over the past couple of years and naturally they need a large number of security personnel.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Lawson's Andy Brown said that he was shocked by the level of protection needed for the One Direction lads after enjoying a night out in Scandinavia with Niall Horan. He said:

"I was recording in Sweden with One Direction’s producer and the 1D boys were there. I ended up going on the lash with Niall. Irish people love a drink and so do Scousers so we ended up getting bevvied up together. That’s why we got on so well.”

Brown added: “He was so down to earth but they had an unbelievable level of security. We were driven underground, snuck through a back entrance and had our own area in the club with free drinks. It was like a military operation."
