Ed Sheeran covers Bob Dylan for Bono's ONE charity

Ed Sheeran has performed a Bob Dylan song for charity.

The British musician has covered the track 'Masters of War' - a 1963 song which saw Dylan protest against the Cold War.

He filmed the cover to raise awareness for the ONE project, which was co-founded by U2 singer Bono.

The group wants to end extreme poverty by encouraging artists to perform protest songs and hopefully influence decision-makers to take action.

Other acts to have contributed songs to the campaign include Mumford & Sons, Macklemore and Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello.

Ed Sheeran meanwhile, who is currently supporting Taylor Swift in the US, took a quick trip back to Britain at the weekend to perform alongside his touring buddy at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at London's Wembley Stadium on Sunday (June 9).
