Union J and Jason DeRulo keen to collaborate

Union J and Jason Derulo have been speaking about working together.

The X Factor 2012 contestants and the US singer contacted each other via social networking website Twitter.

Derulo had been tipped off that Union J's Jaymi Hensley said in an interview that he would be the Brit's dream duet.

The US star then tweeted: "@unionjworld @teennowmag told me you guys wanna do some work with the kid! I was listening to ya'll yesterday lets make it happen! #future."

It seems it's something the boyband would been keen on, with the group replying:

"@jasonderulo 1million percent we would love to, it would be an absolute dream come true #future #idol!."

Union J meanwhile are due to release their debut album this year after finishing fourth on the 2012 series of the UK X Factor.

They also recently confirmed a UK tour due to take place in December and January.
