Queens of the Stone Age have announced a number of UK and Ireland shows for later in the year.

The band are currently sitting at No.2 in the UK albums chart with new release '...Like Clockwork' and they will hit the country in November for a batch of shows.

The jaunt will kick off at Glasgow's new venue The Hydro on November 16 before travelling to Dublin and Belfast.

The US group will then play Manchester and Birmingham before stopping off at London's O2 Arena on November 22.

Tickets will go on sale from 9am UK time on June 21. The full schedule is as follows:

• November 18 - Belfast, The Odyssey
• November 20 - Manchester Arena
• November 21 - Birmingham, NIA
• November 22 - London, O2 Arena
