AEG Live CEO says he received conflicting reports on Michael Jackson's health

The wrongful death trial concerning Michael Jackson is still ongoing in the USA and the CEO of AEG Live, Randy Phillips, has revealed that information given to him about the icon's health in the run up to his demise was conflicting.

Speaking in court this week, Phillips confessed that he was unsure of the King of Pop's wellbeing because he was hearing different things from different people.

He explained to the jury that tour workers told him that Jackson was unable to rehearse because he wasn't strong enough, but at the same time he was reassured by the 'Thriller' hitmaker's doctor that he was well.

Phillips (pictured above left with the singer) also admitted that Jackson seemed "fine" at a meeting about the 'This Is It' tour just hours after he received an email from choreographer Kenny Ortega claiming his health was seriously deteriorating and that the legend was shivering and unable to eat.
