Robin Thicke holds strong at No. 1 with ‘Blurred Lines’

Robin Thicke has held strong at the number one spot for the third week in a row on the UK singles chart with ‘Blurred Lines’ featuring Pharrell Williams and T.I.

The smash - which hit No. 1 in the US this week - has managed to hold off the top competition from Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith's 'La La La’ which has held at No. 2 and Passenger’s ‘Let Her Go’ which has creeped up to No. 3. Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ has slid down one spot to No. 4.

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran’s collaboration ‘Everything Has Changed’ had debuted at No. 7 – two spots lower than it’s placement on the midweek chart, but still this week’s highest debut.

Other debuts include ‘Lights On’ by Wiley featuring Angel and Tinchy Stryder at No. 9 and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince whose 1991 hit ‘Summertime’ has re-entered the charts at No. 36.
