Mumford & Sons confirm Glastonbury appearanceMumford & Sons have announced that they will still be headlining Glastonbury despite bassist Ted Dwane's recent brain surgery. The musician was out of action for a short period of time after a blood clot was found on the surface of his brain. The needed surgery and the British group postponed a series of US dates as a result. This meant that their headline slot at the Glastonbury Festival on Sunday (June 30) was under threat, but Ben Lovett told the Radio Times that they are looking forward to playing the event. He said: "To be honest, Ted dealt with the whole thing better than any of us could have imagined and I don't think there is any need to dramatise what was obviously a very dramatic situation." Mumford & Sons meanwhile have rescheduled four of the cancelled shows for September.
