Jason Derulo has revealed a desire to duet with Kanye West.

However, a recent opportunity to ask the 'Yeezus' man to collaborate with him was missed because West was sleeping.

Derulo told the Metro that he saw the rapper dozing for a number of hours on a recent flight, but it seems he was too polite to give the man a nudge. He said:

"On my way here I saw him on the plane. I actually planned on going and saying 'Whatsup?' but he slept the entire ten-hour flight. I was like 'Dammit! I was going to ask him to get on this song!'."

Derulo added: "He's somebody that's just been able to reinvent and keep it fresh and just do s**t that nobody's doing."

As previously reported, the 23-year-old also recently teased that he has been working with British star Jessie J on new music.
