Conor Maynard: 'My new album will be different, I have a new sound'

'Can't Say No' hitmaker Conor Maynard has revealed that his forthcoming new record, which will be the follow up release to his 2012 debut 'Contrast', might surprise his fans.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the new offering, Maynard confessed that he won't be singing about flirtatious women this time around as he's grown up and has more important messages to put out through his music:

"It's kind of annoying because if I could get it out now and have it done, that would be good, but it takes time. I definitely want it to be worth the wait. I've grown up a bit since the first album, so music is going to be slightly different."

"My musical interests always change, so there will be a new sound. There will be older and more meaningful songs - I definitely won't be singing about girls, girls, girls being all over me!"
