UK based pop-rock quartet Lawson have revealed that this summer will see them embark upon a small tour of North America.

Writing on their collective Twitter page this afternoon (June 25), the 'Standing in the Dark' hitmakers told fans their exciting news: "Finally, we are coming BACK! America, are you ready for another Lawson tour?"

Named the 'Everywhere We Go' tour, the lads will visit cities across the U.S. in August and the first concert will take place in New York City at the Irving Plaza on August 22.

The group then returned to their Twitter page following the announcement and added: "We really had a lot to talk about this evening! Full info on the UK signings (time and place) coming tomorrow..."

Tickets for the run of shows are due to go on sale this coming Friday, June 28 and the full list of dates can be seen below:

• August 22 - Irving Plaza, New York
• August 26 - Rock N Roll Hotel, Washington DC
• August 27 - World Café, Philadelphia
• August 28 - Brighton Music Hall, Boston
• August 30 - The Mod Club, Toronto (Canada)
• August 31 - Sub T, Chicago
• September 3 - The Roxy, Los Angeles
• September 4 - Café du Nord, San Francisco
