Tom Odell's 'Long Way Down' claims the midweek No.1 album spot

Singer-songwriter Tom Odell has entered the UK albums chart at No.1 this afternoon (June 26) with his debut record, 'Long Way Down'.

The Critics' Choice BRIT Award winner has shifted almost as many copies of the offering as the Top 5 albums combined and rapper Kanye West's 'Yeezus' has now dropped 3 positions to No.4.

Passenger's 'All The Little Lights' has climbed 3 to No.2, Rod Stewart's 'Time' is up 1 to No.3, and Michael Bublé's 'To Be Loved' has risen an impressive 9 places to sit at No.5.

Will.i.Am's latest release, '#willpower', has jumped 21 spots to No.19, The Script's 'Number 3' is up 10 to 16, and J. Cole's 'Born Sinner' has dropped 21 places to No.28.
