Yoko Ono confirms new album plans

80-year-old Yoko Ono has revealed that she will be releasing a brand new album later this year.

The star recorded 'Take Me to the Land of Hell' in New York and explained that she plans to share it with the public this coming September through Chimera Music.

Speaking about the impending offering, which she co-produced with her son Sean Lennon and Yuka Honda, Ono confessed that it is a very personal expression of ideas and she can't wait to unveil it on September 17:

"The energy I have right now, and the desire to continue to make as much great work as I can, is really moving me forward all the time," Ono said in a statement. "This album is the culmination of a lot of ideas I've been having over the last few years and I feel proud to release it at such an exciting time of my life."
