'The Voice' winner Andrea Begley: 'Danny O'Donoghue might work with me, but he's busy'

The winner of this year's 'The Voice' series, Andrea Begley, has revealed that she has been in touch with mentor Danny O'Donoghue since finishing first on the show although she's not sure how involved he will be with her career.

During an interview with Digital Spy, the talented singer explained that he has a lot of commitments with The Script, but she's excited that he has expressed an interest in working with her:

"Danny has been on the phone and he has expressed an interest in being involved. But obviously you're right, he does have commitments with The Script and we don't know how much time he'll have. Danny's very friendly, very funny and very down-to-earth."

"We really bonded on the show. He knows his music inside out, as you would imagine, and he's incredibly knowledgeable. He was also just so dedicated as a coach. Even on his days off he was contacting me about song choices, and we put lots of extra hours in together."

When asked if she's spoken to Will.i.Am since he expressed his disbelief at her success on the show, Begley joked that maybe he could rap on one of her songs as compensation: "I could have it as payback for his Twitter comments. It would be quite cool to have a will.i.am rap on an Andrea Begley song. You never know."
