Tom Odell hits No. 1 with debut album

Tom Odell has entered the UK albums chart at No.1 with his debut record, 'Long Way Down'.

The Critics' Choice BRIT Award winner has knocked Kanye West's 'Yeezus' off the top spot and sent it slipping down to No. 6.

Passenger's 'All The Little Lights' has climbed to No. 3, while Rod Stewart's 'Time' is up 2 spots to sit at No. 2. Michael Bublé's 'To Be Loved' has jumped up 10 places to sit at No.4.

Will.i.Am's latest release, '#willpower', has jumped 20 spots to No.20, The Script's 'Number 3' is up 9 to 17, and J. Cole's 'Born Sinner' has dropped 23 places to No.30.

Another new entry to the chart this week is Empire of the Sun’s ‘Ice On The Dune’ which enters at No. 24, making it the band’s second Top 40 album.
