Crooner Barry Manilow has praised singer-songwriter Bruno Mars for being such an entertaining modern artist.

During an interview with Parade magazine, the star explained that he loves watching Mars perform because he puts his all into it and makes sure his sets are truly captivating:

"He puts together an exciting show with a band and choreography. I just love that kind of thing!"

Meanwhile, the 'Locked Out Of Heaven' heartthrob is currently on his Moonshine Jungle Tour although it was recently marred by Canadian flooding and as a result he has been forced to reschedule his July 17 date at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. Writing on Twitter about the news, Mars told his followers:

"Calgary I just heard the saddledome is closed after the flood. I can't play my show but I will come back soon - hold on to your tickets!"
