Jay-Z praises 'fearless' Miley Cyrus

Rap superstar Jay-Z has admitted that he admires Miley Cyrus for being true to herself as she grows up in the very critical public eye.

The beauty featured on Disney's hit TV series 'Hannah Montana' for years and recently released a raunchy music video for her new single, 'We Can't Stop', which raised some eyebrows but the '99 Problems' hitmaker confessed that she's doing herself proud by expressing herself honestly:

"I like what she's doing, it's fearless. I mean, just being herself, expressing herself, you know? I think it's more reaction to people wanting her to be Hannah Montana."

He continued to Hot 97's The Angie Show: "I mean, I don't know - just watching the situation, people want her to be something and she's like, 'I'm not that, I'm however. I was 6 years old, you want me to be 6 years old forever?'"

Cyrus, meanwhile, took to her official Twitter page last night (July 10) and told her followers that Jay-Z's recent question and answer session inspired her to host her own: "I gotta make gettin 2 my lucky # an event! Hmm imma do sum special. Jay Z inspired me 2 do a twitter spree #13mill always been good to me."
